Up to 14 Bacon & Brew Teams will compete for trophies and prizes in an anything goes bacon fueled frenzy of frying, smoking, baking and wrapping. The competitors will be provided with bacon from pigs fed with Aztec Brewing's spent grains. Teams are allowed to use any other ingredients they choose, as long as bacon remains the focus of the dish and it can be served in bite size portions. Limited free samples will be available for the audience on a first come first serve basis. There is no cost to attend the event but there is a $25 entry fee for the cook-off teams. |
